Pure joy

The Monday after Christmas, Josh's side of the family (his mom and his aunt) decided that we needed to go sledding on Mount Charleston. So we headed up early so that we could be off the mountain in the early afternoon. My kids LOVED the snow and sliding down the hills. We actually went to a trails area and slid with our sleds there. Unfortunately, my battery on my camera went dead only after these three shots. My other kids are neglected, I know. But my mom in law went to the van to get more batteries for her camera (cause hers died too) and she slipped and fell on the ice resulting in broken leg. And not your run of the mill break, hers was like a metal plate with 10 screws in your leg kind of break. So not fun for her! So sorry that this day didn't end as well as it started, but the kids had fun :)
